Week 3 - Lecture
Task 1 - Take a walk, Greenwich park, "go and make some work" the task is to find ways to experience the park.
Task 2 - "Meet back here", Keep doing experiments with the space of greenwich park
Experiment 1 - Talking trees, each tree from the entrance of the park to the observatory has a history, and is also showing you the way, mapping your route, what if they/ the words they are saying through there bark could create a visual language that  could be used as a visual/ touch guide.
each tree is was recorded with a photo and then a rubbing which was then scanned. can be seen below
Experiment 2 - What is overlooked in the park? something beautiful but rarely seen or wanted. But if you look close you can find it everywhere. the forms that it creates are wonderful. Tree Moss.
The pictures of moss came our really nice , i wanted to focus on a single thing that is overlooked in plain sight. the next rule i gave myself was to only shoot images once per tree, the moss had to be in the tree and for it to be at a connecting point.
The thing i want to see from these images is what happens to the form or the shape or the attraction to the moss its self when you remove the other interest in the park.
with such a large space its easy to overlook these kinds of things.
so my sext step is trying these out in mono chrome colours and seeing what changes.
