I explained the current state of the project in todays seminar, Tutor feedback was helpful and full of support. In particular i was struggling to add relevance to the materials that i was placing on the top of the vibration plates in respect to the relevant plastic tones that these materials can harmonise with.
It appears that i was overlooking a simple adjustment that can strengthen this project. The sounds are being created from single use plastics found in natural places, eg. the sound of plastic found left to rot ( or rather not to rot ) in the earth.
A solution was found here by suggesting that i see what happens if i use the earth as the relevant material on the vibration plate therefore adding further relevance to the project tying the visuals and the sound together tighter.
